Easter in Myrtle Beach

Flowers are blooming and birds are singing, this can only mean one thing; Spring has sprung! This weekend, March 25th – 27th marks the first weekend of spring and for some, the beginning or end of spring break and Easter. Easter in Myrtle Beach provides plenty of options to celebrate this weekend for whatever reason you choose!

Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot landing are staples to any Myrtle Beach trip and you will want to make sure you visit both! Broadway at the Beach is known for their firework shows during the summer, but this weekend, March 26that 8pm, they will have a special display.  During the day you can visit Barefoot Landing where they are hosting the Bunny Hop Celebration from 12pm – 4 pm. The kids will love visiting the petting zoo.  Face painting and popcorn pong are just a few activities for both young and old alike.

If you do not usually have the opportunity to experience a sunrise service on the beach, I highly recommend attending one this weekend. It is a different atmosphere compared to the standard standing, sitting, and kneeling in a traditional church. Yes, it is early but just imagine watching the sunrise over the ocean.

Every year my siblings and I would have a competition to see who could gather the most eggs at our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Remember your baskets and see who finds the golden egg at one of these Myrtle Beach events!
