Guest Reservations, Changes and Cancellations

Our primary focus is the health and safety of our guests and team.  For that reason, Prista will continue to offer flexible cancellation and payment on all new reservations, as well as rescheduling requests for guests who are unable to travel due to concerns or travel restrictions due to CoVID-19. Guests are requested to contact us directly with any questions or concerns.

Prista has a limited number of private vacation rentals available for long term guests looking to work/school  from home and  ‘quarantine’ at the beach.

Please contact us directly if you are interested in pricing and availability for this type of reservation.

Q.  We are still concerned about traveling. What are our options to cancel or reschedule our stay?

A.   Our team understands that some guests may still have concerns with regard to Covid-19 and traveling. Reach out to us directly and we can assist you with cancelling or rescheduling your reservation. Guests who are outside of our flexible cancellation policy still have options:

  • 100% Refund in the form of a Guest Credit towards a future stay
When you are ready to reschedule your stay please send us an email or give us a call.

Q.   Will we be able to request an early check-in?

A.   In order to provide our Property Care Team sufficient time to clean and prepare each property, Prista is not able to guarantee early check access. Every effort will be made to have your vacation rental ready as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience as we all work together to provide properly cleaned and prepared properties for all of our guests. Prista will communicate with guests via text message or phone call in the event that early access (or delayed check-in) is possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

For guests with current reservations or those planning their next visit to Myrtle Beach, we recognize that you may have questions about our efforts and contingencies and how the CoVID-19 Coronavirus may affect your plans.

Our Rental Agreement says that the balance of our reservation is due 60 days prior to check-in and refunds are not allowed after the final payment has been made.
We are uncertain how this situation might affect future reservations; therefore, we have created a flexible cancellation policy with payment options and are working with guests that have special situation on a case by case basis.

All final payments have been deferred by 30 days and split into 2 payments  in hopes of alleviating some of the financial burden some guests may be experiencing(see below):

  • 50%  due 30 days from check-in date
  • Balance due 14 days prior to check-in date

New Reservations
Families and individuals are going to need an opportunity to relax and enjoy some time away. Prista very much wants to help make that happen and remove any potential obstacles – for that reason we will continue to offer a $99 Deposit Special on new reservations for July .

  • 50%  due at booking
  • Balance due 14 days prior to check-in date

Prista is pleased to introduce “Hassle-Free Cancellation” for all new reservations! Reservations which are eligible for this new policy:

  • check-in date on or after Aug 1st
  • 25% deposit due at booking
  • Balance due 30 days prior to check-in date
  • Full refund on reservations cancelled up to 2 days prior to arrival

Our mission will always be to provide guests with “A Better Myrtle Beach Vacation” and an exceptional experience.
However, we do understand and respect that many guests have additional considerations to evaluate with regard to a previously booked reservation. We look forward to being able to help you plan your stay – if not right now, then whenever you are ready to travel!

The health and safety of our guests, owners and team is our top priority.
Due to the rapidly changing environment in which we are all now operating, it is our desire to respond to as many phone calls and emails as possible and hope that this page will share accurate and helpful information. We will do our best to keep it current and updated in as timely a manner as possible.

We will continue to monitor and follow the guidance provided by local government and health authorities.

Additional Precautions Currently Being Taken

Check-in and Check-out
All our properties are accessed either via wi-fi enabled keypad at the door or on-site lock box. Therefore, guests can go directly to the resort/condo. Prista communicates access instructions to all guests via email. Please ensure that you have received this information prior to arriving at the property.

NOTE to guests checking into the Margate Tower:  To the extent possible (and practical), a member of our Prista team will meet you in the lobby with your key; limiting the need for guests to access lock boxes in the (small) mail room.  Arrangements for you to access your suite will be communicated to you 24 hours prior to your arrival.

Preparation for Guest Arrival
Our Property Care Team continues to use high quality cleaning products and follows industry best practices to ensure each property is properly cleaned and disinfected; with special attention to high-touch’ surfaces such as doorknobs, faucets, light switches, etc.

We will continue to take  extra measures recommended by the CDC with regard to work spaces and general hygiene.

Until otherwise advised, every effort will be made to avoid “back to back” rentals and guests whose reservations will be affected by this temporary policy will be contacted and provided with options. Our focus continues to be the health and safety of our guests, owners and team. If you have an existing reservation which falls ‘back to back’ with another check-in we will be reaching out to you directly to discuss options. During this time, Prista will be confirming each reservation to confirm that that there is no conflict with this policy and ask your patience during this time.

Travel Insurance

If you booked directly through Prista and purchased a RedSky travel insurance policy, please go HERE to find additional information on your policy as well as instructions on how to file a claim. We have been advised, that in most cases, your travel insurance policy will not cover a cancellation due to Covid-19, which is why we have modified our cancellation policy in the best interest of everyone.

Guests who booked their stay on HomeAway/VRBO and purchased a travel insurance policy are being advised to use this LINK to contact the insurance vendor directly.

We realize that many of our guests are dealing with a lot of changes – at work, school and elsewhere and recognize that every guest’s circumstance is different.   Now, more than ever, we are anxious to help you with your well-deserved beach vacation.

If you would like to discuss your reservation, please contact our office at 843-868-1647. We do request your patience as we diligently sift through and respond to the many emails and phone messages from guess and owners.
